Ooh. Spiky plants. Part of Piers' curious personality was tempted to poke it, but he was resisting. He didn't know what in here was flesh eating and what wasn't, so he was keeping his distance. Once he heard footsteps, Piers craned his neck to see just the man he was looking for.

"Andy," he greeted in return with a small grin. Oh, the spiky bushes grabbed his attention alright, but he eyed them warily. "Errrr, yeah..." They were... interesting... and... spiky.

"I was just looking for you actually. Figured we had some catching up to do." It HAD been several years after all. Piers wasn't so good with keeping in touch with old friends. But he WAS good at picking up friendships from where they left off... a decade ago. That had been proven twice now.
