There were way too many staircases in the castle. Brooklyn hadn’t gotten lost, but she was tired of climbing stairs. Especially since half of them seemed to decide they wanted to take her places she hadn’t wanted to go when she had places to be. She had classes, and she wasn’t about to stop her mission to get the professors to think she was perfect. She’d done so for Professor Bellaire at the feast, but there were plenty of others she still had to get to. Not to mention classes, although she still wondered if she could get out of actual work. Princesses weren’t expected to work. Queens definitely weren’t.

She had eyed the lint roller outside of the astronomy classroom, taking her time to decide to pick it up and at least pretend to run it over her uniform. There wasn’t any lint on it anyhow, not even cat hair from playing with Tywin earlier. Who had been stupid enough to think it was used on hair? That just made her wonder about the people here, even more than she already had been.

The sight of the professor up at his desk with a comic book made her eye him, too. Of course, she hadn’t missed him at the feast either, and her opinion of him wasn’t exactly getting better. Not that the tiny redhead was planning on him knowing that. “Good afternoon professor,” she said, not long after one of the other firsties she remembered at the boats had stopped almost directly in front of her and making her skirt around him. She wanted to find her seat before anyone else stole it from her. Curiosity about the things in the room could wait, not that she had any.
