He hadn't much thought of unpacking his trunk properly until now, it had always just seemed easier to take things out as he needed them. Like textbooks, though he would prefer to leave them in his trunk, all but forgotten. Books were heavy and required effort. Effort which he preferred to expend by roaming the castle and its grounds. Still, maybe now was as good a time as any to unpack his stuff.
Like his Appleby Arrows poster, the one that Max James had signed, and the only photo his had of him and Emily, that too, and then there was some of his Zonko's and Weasley Wheezes-wares too... those could go in his drawer. He left one box out though, a box of Bertie Botts which he was dying to open.
"Want some?" he asked his dorm mates, popping a blue and white flecked bean in his mouth before holding out the open box.
