Spotting the other two girls in the room (Brooklyn and Maggie) she smiled softly at them both. She had seen them down at the feast but she didn't recall their names as she hadn't exactly spoken with anyone at the time. Seeing as they were talking she choose to keep quiet for the moment not wanting to interrupt them.
Making her way across the room to her bed (she saw her trunk) a smile broke out on her face as she spotted Hagan her fully calico kitten curled up in the center of the bed. Hady reached out and smoothed the kittens fur and for that was rewarded with a loud purr. Quote:

Maggie glanced over to Brooklyn's kitten, giving it an unimpressed look. Hers was prettier. Hers was better. Obviously. It was only then that she noticed that there was yet another cat sleeping on the third bed in the dorm. Oh goodie. So they all had cats. At least none of them had some kind of weird gross pet. Like a lizard. Or a bird or something. Ew. Birds. She hated birds. "Daddy said her name's Molly when he gave her to me." Right before he left. Yes. So that was why her kitten was called Molly. Maggie briefly considered asking Brooklyn the same question but then decided that she didn't really care. At all. So instead she just looked at the other girl, considering her, eyeing her up, trying to figure out if she was worth making friends with.
Before she'd come to a conclusion, however, the dorm door opened yet again. Oh. There was the owner of the third cat. Interesting. Maggie's eyes followed the other girl as she made her way over to her own bed. "So how are you then?" Maggie finally said, not really moving off her bed and talking around Brooklyn. Quote:

Chewing her lip to keep from giggling she silently smoothed her kittens fur wondering how her snake back home was doing. She'd have to owl her parents and ask about him, she knew he wasn't good around others. Pushing the thought to the back of her mind Hady lifted her head just to catch Maggie looking at her.
For a moment she didn't say anything as she heard the girl (Maggie) speaking but she wasn't fully sure if she'd be talking to her or the other girl in the room still. Sighing softly she tilted her head just slightly to the side in a poor attempt to get her hair out of her face and offered a small. "Hmm?" In question. She hoped it would make the girl ask again if she had been talking to her or at least sound like she might have been interacting with her kitten if she hadn't been.
Right now she just didn't want to make a mess of things and look stupid already. Well, at least there was one thing everyone in the firstie dorm had in common, as Brooklyn had caught the sight of another kitten out of the corner of her eye, curling up on another of the beds. The question occurred to her that she wasn’t entirely aware of how many other firsties there were, but she also wasn’t about to ask Maggie. Obviously she wasn’t about to offer information, and she returned the unimpressed look. It was just as obvious the other girl hadn’t known the importance of her kitten’s name, and how much better it was than one that hadn’t even been original. At least she’d named her own kitten.
“So then your daddy named her,” she replied flatly, showing exactly how much she cared. If Maggie didn’t care to know where she’d gotten her kitten’s name, she wasn’t about to bother to care either. It was turning into another situation of just tolerating people, which was going to be fun. She knew she was better anyhow. Maggie would figure that out soon enough, and she didn’t show any reaction whatsoever to being eyed. All she had to do was wait. Otherwise, Maggie was going to en d up back at the position she’d been in after the lake, if she didn’t prove otherwise. If she didn’t prove she was as annoying as other people who were probably hiding somewhere else in the dungeons.
Her head had turned slightly toward the door as it had opened, letting in yet another sort of blonde firstie girl who had went over to the bed the calico was curled up on. More proof she was more special, if everyone else had practically the same hair color. At least the other girl didn’t have a fluffy white kitten too or she’d really be bored. She had rolled her eyes as Maggie had talked around her, too, finally moving to sit on her bed. Tywin could handle himself. She might as well be comfortable. “Anyone know if it’s just us?” Okay. She’d ask, but just to break the weird silence since it seemed like nobody knew who was being talked to. Now they had something to say.
