When the man replaced her in line, she felt at least a little bit less annoyed. She wasn't going on the flying carpet still, but she was going to watch and try and be accepting to those who wanted to. She still didn't know why the wanted to, but okay. Bhuvana was even curious to see the magic carpet fly. She had heard about her ancestors going sightseeing on them, but she had never seen one.
She nodded back at the man, who at least had the decency to thank her. But then he questioned her decision. She bristled slightly, eyeing him to make sure that he wasn't making fun of her. After a solid minute of semi-dangerous glaring, she deemed it okay to answer. "I prefer to not risk my life in something as inconsequential as trying out a flying carpet. And no, not personally, but I'm sure someone has gotten injured. And I don't want someone to be me." She finished in her posh potpourri of British and Bengali accents. She switched which arm was crossed over which.
And someone was trying to make her leave her safety of being on the ground. "No, no thank you. I'll just watch."
