"I didn't mean to scare you!" Nola exclaimed when the girl jumped. Maybe the tiny second year needed to add 'learn to not creep up on people' to her list of things she needed to work on. "I'm Nola Yorker." She smiled up at her.

When the girl started talking a smile crept onto Nola's face. "You have a different accent." She commented. "Are you from Louisiana?" Nola asked a bit excited. Nola had never really caught the southern accent she heard from Louisiana and talked more like her Uncle Mark who had spent most of his life in London. "I'm from Louisiana." Nola explained to her, for the moment glitter was not important.

Emmylou took another sour gummy worm out of it's very noisy bag and popped it in her mouth. She thought that it would be a good and nice gesture if she asked the girl if she wanted one but the fourth year saw the sadness in the younger girls eyes and thought it wasn't best to share with her. Maybe she was homesick and sour gummy worms reminded her of home? Emmylou shrugged at the thought.

"I know you didn't." Emmylou beamed at the girl. The blonde looked at the girl. She hoped that she didn't think she was mad because she wasn't. "I'm Emmylou Duchannes. It's nice to meet you, Nola." She smiled and waved at the girl and then looked at the moving portrait for a few seconds and back at the Nola girl.

Emmylou noticed the girl smile as soon as she spoken to here. The fourth year had never gotten a response like that about her accent before. It was new and she liked it. Emmylou shook her head. "I was born in Louisiana but I live in Alabama." At least she was in the correct part of the country. She was from Louisiana! Emmylou beamed at the girl. She had never met anyone that lived so close to her before.
