She was fairly certain she was still getting stern glares for missing so many classes the previous year.

She still just stood there, not sure if she should go in or not, trying to decide if their conversation was something she should bother trying to join in or not. She was kind of terrified of the idea. She again looked at her professor and slowly stepped in, "Hello, Professor." She gave a weak smile and gave a small nod to the others in the room.

The astronomer continued to watch the Ravenclaw - whose name escaped him at the moment - and swayed his head back and forth slowly to the rhythm of the piano. He threw the Slytherin and appreciative grin before the questions came flying in.

"I am indeed a professor," he confirmed. "Professor Flamsteed, although you may also call me Professor Airey if you wish." Which also answered the piano playing first year's question as well. "I teach Astronomy here at Hogwarts and I certainly hope that my lessons are fun. It is one of my personal goals each time I enter the classroom - make it fun. I would suggest you ask your house prefects for their opinion. Afraid that mine would be incredibly biased."

Soon a Hufflepuff entered the room as well and Airey offered her an enthusiastic salute in return. "Good day to you, Miss Roman."

And then Marion Burbage happened. "Good day, Marion," Airey greeted the ghost with a small chuckle. "I didn't know that you were a music fan as well."

She liked how he said that he wanted to make the classes fun, "Cool. Everything here just seems to amaze me." Being a muggle-born, she had never experienced anything like this before. She noticed a woman sit down next to her and it scared her a bit. She wasn't used to seeing ghosts. She never saw them in the muggle-world so it frightened her a bit. Her playing slowed as she looked at her. "Hello," she responded before turning to play more music, switching from Bach to Tchaikovsky. She really liked this piece, Tchaikovsky's Concerto, it was the first movement. It was an extremely old piece, but her teacher loved the classics. "Do you two play?" she asked out of curiosity. She had slowed the piece down a lot, so she was able to play it but it sounded alright.

"Oh daaaaaarling. Don't just stand there like a quivering leaf over there by yourself," Marion chirped at the young Hufflepuff girl. "Come come. Over here by the piano, dear. Do you sing?"

Oooooh what a MARVELOUS idea that would be! They could have a little sing-a-long right here in the...what room was this again? It had not been here during her brief time as Astronomy professor.

"Oh HO HO HO HO HO, ALWAYS the kidder, aren't you Airey daaarling," the ghost hooted as she flapped her arms about. Quite the pleasantry for the living that she was, in fact, decease and thus her old lady skin did not wiggle about while her arms flapped like a bird's wings. Her transparent self turned back towards the piano playing darling and her smile widened for kilometers. "I've aaaaaaaalways loved the piano. I was meant to attend one of my granddaughter's recitals before, well, before circumstances changed." Her ghostly featured flickered for a moment. "Oh but hearing you play dear just makes me feel alive."

Marion floated upwards a bit and moved away from the seat. The young Hufflepuff Miss should take a seat. Mmhmm.

"Tell me, dear. Can you play anything that we can all sing along to?"
