Did Noel Wallace realize how far the corridor leading to the kitchen was from her bed? It was far. Seemed even farther given the time of day it was and the fact that the sleeping kneazle in her back pack was snoring gently, a sound which taunted the very tired twelve year old as she came to a halt.

Maddie was early by a few minutes but that was probably for the best. It'd give her a chance to wake up before this little adventure started.

Noel would be along soon, yes?
