Ethan chuckled when Beverly pointed out who the obnoxious one was. Sure Zahra can be loud and all, but she’s really entertaining. The fourth year kept his mouth shut, because he was quite sure that his opinion about the Lion fifth year, and Beverly’s would crash. Ethan was able to interact with Zahra back in History of Magic last term, and she was an excellent catalyst to put on a good show…and earn him huge chunks of emerald points from Glendower. Zahra can keep on being crazy, as long as she won’t put any of his Snakes in trouble.

Before he can even swallow the bread roll in his mouth, Beverly was now on her feet confronting the only Gryffindor with them. Not a wise move, Wayne. Ethan tugged on her sleeve and gestured her to sit down. “Let her.” Why? If she’s going to trigger a bigger mess, let her. At least the Snakes’ are clearly off the hook this time, allowing people like her to sit with them. If she does something worthy of deducting points, then so be it. The whole thing could work to their advantage. “Let her put on a show, Wayne. Healer Murdoch allowed her to sit with Ruby.” He said almost whispering.

Ethan usually enjoyed the feasts because of food, but seeing that adults are fighting in front of them…the boy easily lost his appetite. “I’m done with dinner, Miss Wayne.” He said as he drank the water from his goblet, clearly upset with how this feast turned out. “I’m going to go lead the first year boys and transfers to our dorms.” Sighing, he got up and addressed the rest of the table. “All first year boys and Transfers! If you’re done with dinner, meet me up at the Entrance and I’ll show you to our dorms.” Hopefully, there will be no problem this time. He just wants this night to be over.
