...but Jere was already walking towards the snap cup...and Gabriel slumped. He was NOT getting up and walking towards that cup. NOT in front of everyone.
An anxious tick had started in his jaw...and he was most definitely already sweating. At least Jere had sat with him...and not a GIRL....
