"I think it'd either be on of the many colour changing things, which is way better than having silly string of one colour anyway, or it would have a life of it's own" the latter idea was a scary one actually. He could just imagine the pieces of silly string flying around and attacking them...

It would still be pretty funny to watch though.

He had to figure out a way to invent that in the next rest of his life.

He'd looked up from his tea in time to see AJ talking to another boy, but sending a small smile. It wasn't a real big one, in fact it wasn't much of a smile at all but oh well. She'd have to have a proper smile at some point...

So he waved, beaming at the older Gryffindor. "Hey AJ" he called, beaming even more at the fact that he managed to remember her name.

Leo was very proud of himself.

Leo didn't mean to... it was entirely accidental that he heard what the prefect that he'd seen earlier at the feast to Professor Flamsteed. But it did confuse him quite a lot, and he couldn't help but blurt out at the comment the prefect made.

"Wouldn't you know that the staircase went the wrong way though? I mean haven't you been here for like... years?"

He almost face palmed at his own words.

Leonard felt sorry for the boy that walked in, unprepared for the chaos that had erupted into the common room and although the other boy was older, he offered a smile.

"They have silly string, muggle thing that he thought was like a party in a can" he said, pointing to their head of house. "Basically we're having a bit of a hey guys, welcome to Hogwarts party" he figured that was a really good summary of all the things that had happened so far.

"I'm Leo by the way"
