There was this one time when Dot and Dima had seen a rabbit in the field by his house, and they'd had to creep up on it in stealthy bursts, judging whether or not it felt safe enough for approach before inching cautiously towards it. They'd never made it, since Dot gave up and ran at it full tilt, but she'd learned how to approach terrified creatures.

Like Specs was terrified.

"Good, yeah. Choo doing here in the lib'ry?" Since he didn't have any books or anything on him yet.
