She did see him, and Dot hopped down off her ladder and started to shadow Specs. He was an odd one, from the way he cowered on the train and let those girls boss him, to the way he was running away from her now. She was little. That kid at the feast had called her a little kid. Why was Specs running away from a little kid?

"Hi." Dot planted herself at the end of the row Specs was trying to escape down, her hands on her her hips and feet in a wide stance. She wasn't gonna go chasing after him. Nope.
