Caleb hadn't felt that good - maybe he was getting a sinus infection. Or the changing seasons were messing with his brain because of pressure and all that. That was a thing, right? Either way, he was not in a good mood and was barely even stuffing his face. He only had room in his stomach for a chicken leg, plate of roast beef, huge spoonful of potatoes, two goblets of pumpkin juice, and five bread rolls. Seriously he was practically starving himself and he just couldn't force himself to eat more!
Then there was something going on with Ruby and Zahra running around with pillows on their heads. Caleb was actually amused until Tillstorm - or, um...Healer something else now that she was married - squashed all the fun right away. If this was any indication as to how his year would be, he was not pleased.
