Hogwarts RPG Name: Leonard "Leo" Stark First Year | SPOILER!!: AJ Quote:

AJ could see the relief on his face when she told him that she too was a muggleborn. Hmm... what to tell him. What did she wish somebody had told her before she got to lessons? One professor in particular popped into her mind. "When you got to transfiguration class DO NOT sit down until the professor tells you to, and make sure you are nice and neat." This was important. You didn't want to tangle with Bellaire. "Oh, and don't refer to your wand as a magic stick." Lesson learned. Sports! That was her kind of topic. "There's quidditch only I never got to play because of the death threats." Just casually telling horror stories here. "They wouldn't let any of us play. I wonder if that will change this year." She took a quick breath. "We sometimes have study groups." That was all that she could think of now.
See. Hogwarts was totes cool. "There is. I think there is pretty much a potion for everything." Something else that she would have to ask the potions professor when she got him alone. "The effects don't last forever though." Such a shame. "Muggle studies is lots of fun. We got food a lot last year." Who wouldn't be happy about that? Leo couldn't help but beam at the older girl as she suggested they go exploring the castle together. That would mean that they'd both see things they might have never seen before... and beyond that it would definitely be an amazing adventure to have. Maybe they'd find things that no one remembered about anymore.
Now that would certainly be amazing. "Ok, don't sit, don't say magic stick, look presentable" he summarised for himself, hoping he'd be able to remember it. Bringing it down to those three points would probably help much with that. "There were death threats about a sport? But why? And what is it?" he finally concluded with the last question, knowing that as a fellow muggle-born she would understand why he didn't know anything about it. "Oh... so like... you'd have to keep remaking a potion in order to have the effects last then?" after he said it, he realised it was a stupid question... unless it wasn't. He was moderately confused right now. SPOILER!!: Lex Quote:

Lex reached into her bag, fishing out a sugar quill. The cupcakes and cookies were fine but it was a spur of the moment craving and those she hardly ignored...if ever. "What are who like?" She questioned, sucking at the tip of the treat. It was only a moment later that understanding hit her. "Oh you mean the elves? They're lovely. Super nice and always offering to help or make you something. A bit nutty though and they tend to hurt themselves when they think they've done something wrong." It was....unnerving to say the least but apparently that was how they liked things so...who was she to question it. Super nice but nutty with a tendency to hurt themselves?
That sounded like nothing what he'd ever been told about elves, and he was certain the look of confusion/shock was quite obvious on his face. Well... this definitely meant that he shouldn't trust anything that he thought he knew. "Huh" was the only way he knew how to respond to that one... yes this would definitely take a while for him to fully process. "So what are... like... typical things that people do aside from classes? And what are the classes like? Which one do you think is the best?"

And then the food literally appeared. Leonard almost died as he looked around the table... what on Earth was he supposed to do with all of this food???
His attention was quickly taken away from that by the, apparently new, head of house. He honestly had no clue what to make of him or the bet that he mentioned. But he still took an immediate liking to the guy, he seemed pretty cool. Slightly insane, but pretty cool.
However he looked awkwardly at him at the roar, not really sure what he was meant to do. |
