Well, if she dared her, and apparently Ruby was getting detention anyway....

Not dropping eye contact except for the few seconds it took to tap her thigh with her own wand, Ruby DID adjust it again. Mind you, not quite so short as it had been, but certainly above the knee again at least. She gazed at the professor and lifted her chin, waiting for a reaction.

Sophia's eyes widened as the child looked into her face and disobeyed her. The insolence was not going to fly with her. No way.

Sophia's eyes narrowed and she took hold of the shoulder hem of her shirt and pulled her physically away from the table, but not before she put her uniform back to how she had it before and this time she used a semi-permanent charm.

"You will stand for the rest of the ceremony and if I see or hear anything more from you Miss Banner, you will spent the rest of the night ads a rat!"
