She was in a terrible mood. What a great way to start the new term, eh? Hooray--NOT. She had done her first Prefect-ly duty of making sure no Snake was astray after getting off the train. See, she was responsible...sometimes..? Okay. What really had happened was she had been looking for Jeremiah and didn't find him. THERE. But still. It had to count for something that no one got left behind on her watch.

So here she was, new Prefect Beverly Wayne walking down to the Slytherin table with a FIRM look on her face, and purpose in each step. No one mess with her tonight, 'kay? Or bruises might be earned.

Stopping at the end of the green and silver table, Beverly placed her hands on her hips and glanced down the table, narrowing her eyes slightly. No one was misbehaving, yeah? Because she didn't tolerate obnoxiousness. THAT belonged to the Gryffindors and maybe even Hufflepuffs if they felt all happy-go-lucky.

This was going to be fun, the badge--she could tell.

Walking down to a center seat she nodded and waved at people she new. There was Whitlock, Aditya, Agatha, Marisol and--

Making her way in his direction, she took a seat next to him. "Hello, Prefect Lute Boy." She had to stress his title just because it was fun. "I suppose we're partners now." Beverly tossed her long hair behind her shoulder allowing her badge to breath. See! Partners.

There was also Professor Bellaire. As usual, Beverly felt great respect for the woman. A sort of admiration toward her attitude. "Thank you, Professor Bellaire." Polite nod, always polite. "I hope you had a great summer." Because she certainly had.
