Marisol slid into her seat nonchalantly. She was the fourth one there, and the only second year. There were that Newell twin, Aditya (the Hufflepuff), and some other, older guy Mari didn't know. She figured she'd sit there and wait for her friends or whatever.

Inside, however, Mari was freaking out. She was a second year now, gosh dang it. She had better start acting like one. Marisol fit the job- average, height, average hair, awkward- but her English did not. It was sure better than last year, but if she wanted to be a prefect (which she didn't, but her parents wanted her to be) she had better "start participating." All of that spoken in fast-paced Spanish by Raquel and Jorge Cruz was pretty intimidating.

Mari sat up straight. It was totally okay. Plus, she didn't really care about school, anyway. Too bad for her parents expecting her to be just like their little Lucía, the adorable one with the amazing grades. This was Marisol Benícia Cruz we were talking about, and she was gonna do second year her way.
