Chloe continued to gum on the dragon, it felt good on her sore gums. She didn’t know why she felt pain there, but nice chewy was helping. “dada baba mama” she babbled along as she chewed happily, until she heard a loud noise. Her eyes widened as she jumped before seeing the little big person come over. What was he doing? Why was he grabbing the pretty thing?
Holding it tightly she tried to pull back but he was just too strong for her and she lost her chewy. “WHAAAAA WHAAAA WHAAAA WHAAAA” Why was he being mean, she just wanted to chew. Rolling her little body towards him she grabbed at his leg. “bababa” she reached for the dog that was near her and put it in her mouth. This could work too.
Minerva continued to work on dinner. Her mind in a thousand different places. Maybe instead of volunteering at the hospital she could find something when Ethan was at home, then she’d feel better leaving for a few hours. Maybe volunteer a few hours once he got home. Though she’d feel bad leaving him with two kids after he had just worked a full day. It wasn’t fair to him at all was it. He worked so hard so she didn’t have to work and she was being a brat thinking only of herself getting back to her career. Was that her being selfish? The kids needed her at home and she should just worry about being at home.
Though she had seen that sign for a dance instructor needed, maybe she could just do that once a week just to get out for now. Sighing as she just went to place the lasagna in the oven when a yell of no caught her off guard and she dropped the dish. UGH, bending down she took her wand out and cleaned up the mess. Was any of it savable? It looked like maybe she could work with it.
Hearing Chloe she turned her head towards the children. “What’s going on you two? Gunnar you have to share. Chloe just wants to play.” Seeing the dog go into her mouth she chuckled. “Poor baby is teething aren’t you?” Walking over she took the dog out of her hand and replaced it with a teething toy. “This will feel better princess.” Leaning down she gave her a kiss and then gave Gunnar a kiss. “Mommy is trying to make dinner can we please get along for a few minutes.”
