THERE WAS A FLYING MEASURING TAPE IN HER FACE!

Maggie shrieked and started swatting at the measuring tape. What was she even doing here? Getting a WAND apparently. One that could do things. Or she could do things WITH it. Apparently. That's what she'd been told. No one had listened when she'd once again pointed out that she didn't in fact WANT to be able to do things. She was very good at a lot of things. She didn't need an additional talent.

So why did the measuring tape not stop doing things? HELP?!????!?!?!??!
