It was his very first time here at Ollivander's. Well, not exactly, he had been here before with his older sister but this time, it was his turn to find his own wand. And yes, that was pretty much exciting.

"Do you think I'll get a big one? And with some kind of weird core?" Hugo asked eagerly to his mom. Victoria chuckled "Who knows, you'll have to find out". Ohh yes and that was so awesome! He couldn't wait to try out his wand and do some cool tricks... and pranks.

Finally he was in the shop. A bunch of kids were there too and it made him frown because he wanted to have his wand now. He stood on his toes to have a glance at the measuring tape. That thing was cool! "Does that thing is going to tickle me?" because he didn't want that. "If you stay still, it won't do it" his mom told him. Of course none of it was true. Maybe?

It was his turn to be measured. Hugo did as his mom told him, he stood still, almost like a statue and his eyes were fixed on the wall in front of him, as if something dangerous was going to happen. His mom couldn't help but to laugh a bit at his son's reaction. After the measuring tape was done, he waited for the shopkeeper to give him his wand.
