'Ophie tho - Polyvore

Ophelia was trying not to act like an excited first year about getting her very own wand, but it was kind of coming out in her brown eyes. It was just too exciting. Of course, being a pureblood meant that 'Ophie had seen wands before, but never like this. This was her OWN wand, something that was off limits to everyone else. It was for the blonde's hands only. And when there were five older siblings in your house, not many things were for your hands only. So this was special. Extremely special. Like get a little giddy because this was YOUR wand special. Almost as special as when she learned to read at level special. And that was a special moment. Also, was it just Ophelia, or did the word special not feel like a word anymore?

And yes, the soon to be first year knew that she looked a little... interesting right now. It all had a valid explanation, she swore it! And it could be summed up in one word. Nervousness. And that had a valid explanation too. Actually a lot of things she did had a valid explanation, but one that only made sense to her. Pair that with the fact that she was too lazy to explain things to her parents and the little blonde was doing a bunch of non-explainable stuff. Nothing too bad, not stealing cars or anything, but unexplainable. Wait, the outfit, right.

Her parents and siblings were the type to always look ridiculously put together, while the youngest Clarke child was the one with the unbrushed hair or the dirt on her face. But Hogwarts was coming up. And despite the fact that the pre-teen was terrified for her sorting -eeep- she also wanted her last days with her parents to look amazing. And then came the fact that the poor kid felt uncomfortable not expressing her fashion tastes at every minute. The brown eyed girl thought she did pretty well, at least when she left the house this morning, though her parents might have disagreed. Whatever, they could live. These were her life choices.

"Hey!" Ophelia's thoughts were interrupted by a tape measure getting a liiiiittle too close for comfort. Intrusive much? If that thing were a person she would be SO up in its business right now. Or running away. Probably up in its business. Too close; tape measure. Too close. And it was a complete coincidence that her voice sounded kind of like a whine. Completely.
