Victoria couldn’t help but chuckle at Mariel’s comment, “Honestly I think you’ve rubbed off on me over the years, either that or I just can’t tolerate idiots anymore.” She used to be so soft spoken before the twins came and now she just couldn’t hold her tongue. “Well I’m certainly glad you are not. Merlin knows what is even in it and if it would counteract with one that I’m already on.” She had that issue once not that she regretted it now, but it was still a risk taking new potions.
“I do, I’m just stating if the minister or someone would say I have to, I’d gladly be fired before taking something those wacko’s are requesting I take. I love my job, but I love my health and sanity more.” She wouldn’t risk being fired from a job she loved for anything, but being forced to take a potion from someone other than her healer was not just an average work thing and if this healer had the courage to send a letter to Mariel about her little outburst who knew where else he would send one when she didn’t respond.
She had a feeling they were going to be in the building awhile, “Well if they are giving everyone evaluations like they did me, then I’d say they are just looking for work. Maybe St. Mungo’s hired too many people and this is their way of giving them something to do.” She had beginning to have little faith in the entire Wizarding area. The school was crazy, the ministry seemed crazy, so why not have St. Mungos on the crazy train as well.
Her boss wasn’t mad was she? She looked at the woman with curiosity, “Is that alright? I mean we are slow right now, my work is all up to date and I’ve given out the responsibilities that need done while I’m gone. If people need something Benji could easily take care of it. He has been a great asset to the team. “ He really had shown his reliability to Vic since being hired and she couldn’t be more impressed with the man. Her smile couldn’t be helped as Mariel said about it being wonderful. “It will be. With that ridiculous closed off issue they were having I haven’t seen much of him, so sometime away with just the two of us will be perfect.” The trip was going to be wonderful and she just couldn’t wait. “Next week once he’s back from that school. I need to make sure that Bart is alright and tie up some lose ends with the kids, but all here will go smoothly while I’m gone and I am on top of the tryouts so it should be good to sit until I come back.” They had some time before it was to take place so she knew everything would be in order.
