It was time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even though he'd spent all his galleons on his owl, and even though the pocket money he'd earned since has gone on candy, he was HEREEE! GETTING HIS WAND! FINALLY! And not a stupid dumb sparkly one either, this was legit! "-- you recon it'll be like yours? What is yours again? Do I get two as well? Or just one? What if they can't find one that chooses me?Do I choose it? Which wood is stronger? Better? What if I have to go through the whole shop and they STILL don't have one?" He was babbling, too many questions accumulating in his head without a filter to separate them. Zeke yanked on Emily hand, pulling her further into the shop but letting go once he was in the measuring area. He knew how this worked, he spoke to enough people, and had spied through the window more times than he could count. Now it was HIS turn!

"Oiiii!"... "Hey!" he exclaimed on occasion as the measuring tape flicked him behind the ear and rubbed against the underside of his nose. It wasn't THAT big! What did his nose have to do with his wand anywaaaayyyyy? Huh? He stood reasonably still for the remainder of the measuring, his arms and so forth, though he did occasionally bounce on the balls of his feet.

With there being no hope of him going to the last few days of muggle school, Emily had let him stay home, and considering she had the morning off, figured it was time to indulge the boy in his dream. His wand, his first wand. She didn't bother attempting to answer his questions, it was a habit of his to sound any and every thought that came to his head without considering its value first, so, she was confident he was now too distracted by the measuring to care what kind of wand she had, or whether they wouldn't have one to suit him. She gave the shopkeep a polite smile and nod of the head. Did they deal with children like him regularly?
