Daniel Radcliffe commented a bit further on the remarks J.K. Rowling said earlier in the year about how there was a small chance she could have seen her characters Harry Potter and Hermione Granger get together romantically. Dan stated that he was happy Harry got together with Ginny, and thought that Harry being with Hermione would have been 'a bit predictable'.
Quote:
Daniel Radcliffe: I'm very happy to end up with Ginny. That was something that never crossed my mind. I find it very interesting that [J.K. Rowling] said I can't be going for her a few years later. But, yeah, I think there were a lot of people who felt that was the way they wanted it to end. But I dunno, I think that would have been a bit predictable.
Dan was also a guest on On Air with Ryan Seacrest in Los Angeles on Friday, where he reveled for quite a bit about his love for the
Sharknado movies - including getting to meet one of the series' stars, Tara Reid - while promoting the release of
What If.
Quote:
“I’m a fan of your movie, Sharknado 1 and 2,” he tells Tara, who also affirms her love for Harry Potter. “Now that Harry Potter is gone, there is a void for the next big franchise, so I think you should do at least eight of them.”
So what’s next for Daniel? ”I actually booked a holiday, which I haven’t done in ages, which is nice,” he says. “Then I’m doing another promotional tour for a movie called Horns, which comes out in October, which is crazy. And then after that, hopefully I get to make another movie this year.”
