"Hullo, West Odessa," she said, chin up and a taaad bit less shy than before. "Thank you for teaching me the Disillusionment Charm." Which she's been practicing lately and using it to scare her dorm-mates.

"I..." she set the second panda-print box down on the table, her cheeks slightly flushing. It had a green ribbon on the lid so it was slightly boy-ish. Sort of. "It's a muffin. And congrats on graduating."

People like muffins, yeah? Him and Derry would like her muffin? Hopefully. She burned a finger doing them.
Ye-es that was his name. West grinned at Beverly. "No problem. I bet you're getting pretty good at it by now.... I haven't seen you around." GET IT? GET IT? Bahhaahaha. Okay. That was a little too punny... clearly he'd been spending far too much time with Nigel Barrington, punmaster.

A box...? He examined it and then beamed at her. "A muffin? Thanks!" Yeah! He had food already, a ton of it, and the feast hadn't even started! This was awesome! So yeah, he didn't regret leaving a little note for her in the memory book then. Mhmm.

"I'll save this for the train." He added. It would be TOUGH but he'd manage.

She tried to casually feel her forehead, which she did successfully by twisting a strand of her hair and tucking it back, brushing it off her forehead, which felt normal. Except probably bright red.

And of COURSE she would be going with Ruby and Z. She tried to channel her inner Ruby/Z and managed to say, "I'll consider that an invitation," with only a slight tremor in her voice from nerves. She wriggled a bit excitedly and a bit nervously.
West started on his autograph... not just leaving it as his signature either. Gotta write a bit of a note of course.

"Sure." Invitation. Nod. Whatever. No skin off his nose, really. It was always good practice to have an audience so whatever.

But as she was doing her packing, Layla noticed something. It seemed to be getting warmer inside the castle. Which influenced her choice of clothing greatly. She was so tired of having to bundle up every single day! So, to finally be warm made a grin appear on her face as she flopped down in the only open space left at the table.

"Hello, everyone!"
West looked up.

"Hey Layla." Someone looked to be making the most of the weather break through. He could spot a dress under her robes. Didn't blame her either, thankfully they weren't gonna be stuck here any longer. Though it was AWFULLY convenient, timing-wise.

'scuse you?

"He's not the one yelling at me." West pointed out. "Knock it off or I'll stick your forehead to the table and you can finish the rest of the feast yelling at your feet." Did she reaaaally wanna push him on this? Reaaaaaally? And he didn't care about the under-table kicking, it was just the volume and distraction that annoyed him. She could kick away... if they all played their footsies in silence that was.

Because West looked FIERCE. And the Hufflepuff really didn't want to be hexed. No, no. He'd just sit here and looked like he belonged. He really felt as if he did. Hehe.
"You would if it was via the West express." West said in a normal tone, raising one eyebrow at the Hufflepuff then grinning. Then he added casual advice, "But really... you probably don't wanna draw Tillstorm's attention. She's not the greatest fan of Hufflepuffs." Or had nobody else noticed this but him?

And Simon nodded his head really, really quickly so that the older boy knew that he got what he had meant. He shot a glance at his mates and then rolled his eyes. Sheesh. Hadn’t he just told them that they were going to lose points if they carried on like this? West supported his point and he gave a grateful and relieved nod towards the other boy. Thank Merlin West was here. “Sorry and thanks West,” he said giving the seventh year a relieved smile. Simon rubbed his head and then slid a little bit over towards the older guy and away from his own crazy year. Yeah, he didn’t wish to get hit anymore. “Congratulations. Excited for Quidditch?” he asked, hoping to cheer up the soon-to-be graduate.
Simon was a good kid. The GOOD one of the group, clearly. West just smiled back.

"Thanks. Yeah I am... its going to be amazing getting on a broom again.... when I next play... if you wanna come and watch I can spring you some tickets." No big deal.

Even though I'm not sure about the Wanderers. The snow kinda killed me ever hearing back from them." That would be fun though. But any team was a team to her at this point. "And if not, better watch out. You know how good my aim is."

Adelaide smiled. "I would love that actually. Get back in tip top shape before everything."

And good. He was being nice to Connor.

And then West was yelling at the younger snakes with his captain voice. You tell 'em Odessa.
"The snow has got in the way of a lot of us furthering our external career options." West agreed. Like he was ON the team and STILL hadn't been able to play for most of the year. It sucked.

"Oh I know how good your aim is... but I also know your weaknesses." BROWS. So sheee should watch out. Buahahaa.

"Great. Lets take a few days to settle in, then drop me an owl, yeah?"

Wow, shouty West. Wait, wasn't this a job for the Head Boy? How could he possibly contribute without looking like an idiot but still keeping his authority? "Yeah!" Brilliant. What a Head Boy to be remembered.
Blubbering? He thought he was going to? Honestly, West already had for Botros reasons and memory book reasons so he was pretty sure he was cried out.... but if Theo did chances were that West would, lets face it. He put on his staunch!manly face and nodded in agreement.

And Theo had his back of course. YEAH.

............. West. West the musical and authoritative one. LOL. You're busted, Hapgood. They all were but the fact that it was happening to Agatha too made it just that little bit better.

Simon and Ethan and West were all right. Uh huh. He wasn't going to let HER ruin this feast. Letting go of her elbow, Grayson bent under the table agai-- "OWWWW!" MERLIN'S SAKE, STOP KICKING HIM. He was trying to get AWAY from the psycho one, thank you. The fifteen year old emerged on the other side and sat in between Ethan and Sophie, his blue eyes still on Agatha.

And then there was eye rolling. From Whitty. Because they were 'kids', according to her, and DESERVED the violence. He had every mind to send her a kissy face just to push her buttons even more but the people in her vicinity didn't deserve to have her turn into Medusa again. "Sounds like someone's got a bit of a violent side," he said as quietly as possible.

"So what do you think Africa's like?" he said to no one in particular. Cool the tension, man. Cool it.[/COLOR]
Yeah see? He wasn't all that bothersome. Under the table and whatever who cared? Though the yelling was a bit annoying at least it had stopped.

"I've been a few times... Togo.. Burkina Faso... Tanzania... South Africa... for Quidditch, and to Egypy a bunch with my dad and Botros. S'different depending where you go." There you go, see? An answer for you. Calmly, because no hard feelings over this way, so long as the feast went on enjoyably.

She nodded, "Its sort of weird, isn't it? I've been so ready to leave but now that it's come down to it, it's a weird feeling." Cat wrapped one arm around West's neck and gave him another hug, though it was a half hug because cannoli was happening. "Any time."

"Yeah!" And what was this? Theo was so in for hugs! She'd kind of thought he would be, all things considered, you know? But still, it made her very happy and there was a great big grin on her face when she threw her arms around him and gave him a great big squishy hug of a lifetime. YAY THEO!
Grin.

"Well, just clarifying." Hehe. He swayed a bit with her lil nudge and nommed on the cannoli happily. "I keep thinking about the first time I was here... me and Theo." And pee pants lulz but he didn't mention that, "And Terry and Cassia." And a few others, "And... just... everyone else that came over the years -Including you- and I feel really lucky to have been a part of it all. With everyone. It IS a weird feeling. Because... what happens next? Even when stuff got crazy here, there were some things you could always count on, people you could always count on... but we have to count on ourselves now, or something."

........................

.... and did he hear something about Greece? People were talking about Greece. His cousins were going on that trip.

... West wondered if he should apologize for them now, or pretend like he didn't know the Banners at all.
