"I'm sure your husband and son are doing just fine and waiting for you to come home tomorrow." What else could he say to sooth her mind?

Leo was about to reach for his water goblet again when he felt himself being hugged from behind. Turning he expected to see Cassie and found Javey. His face cracking up into a beam he said "Thanks mate. It’s good to be out of the hospital wing. Those creatures attacked me pretty badly." Yes, so he was going to have use a lot of caps until his hair grew out. Seeing Cassie come over too he reassured her with an appreciative smile. "I'm okay, soar in places and I’ve got a few wounds that are still healing, but it’s nothing that a few weeks rest won't cure." Waving Cassie to come closer Leo said "And thank you so much for keeping an eye on the library for me and for the flowers in my office."
