The Gryffindor smiled weakly again, and chuckled. But it was more of a nervous chuckle than anything really. "Yeah well... We'll see about that," he would've at least attempted to wink back, but he was feeling to twitchy. So no. Not now. Maybe later after he had gone through with the deed. Then. Then Simon asked, and he knew the Slytherin would pick up on his weird mood. Simon was good at that. Understanding. "I-I yeah I'm okay..." he smiled nervously, shaking his leg under the table. But he couldn't do it. He couldn't lie to one of his best mates. "I-just-I Simon, I'm so nervous!" and just to show how nervous he was he held his hands up in the air in total exasperation.

The third year shook his head vigorously. He was most certainly not okay, but nobody else needed to know that. Not now. Not until after. So instead he laughed nervously. "I'm just... Just you know.. Nervous about the train home.. Uh... What if it doesn't work you know?" Because of the cold weather. It looked like things were warming up, but who really knew what was actually going on out there? Not Zander that's who. Of course that wasn't the real thing he was thinking about. But that's as far as he was willing to explain at the moment. Uh. Turning away from Adi, the Gryffindor spotted another friend. It was weird to say friend so much. Especially because this was his first time having SO many. Just weird. His legs were still doing the shaking thing, and he was still feeling pretty sweaty, but he managed to return Cinna's wave and watched as she made her way towards them. "Hi Cinna," and now back to staring at the empty plate and the imaginary peas.

Its not like he was happy about the victory-- because really, he was. It was just... It was just hard being happy when you were too busy being nervous about the rest of the feast. There was just SO much to be nervous about. The first being the delivery. The second being the Kevin thing. But he really was happy, not a kicked puppy.

Zander smiled at Bay. Ah, how he missed his first mate ever. A lot. "Bay... Do you-do you think you can help me with some spells next term?" With the sixth year being gone so long DADA and transfiguration were kind of a struggle. He had a lot of catching up to do and Bay was pretty good at this magic stuff. So hopefully the boy would be willing to help the younger lion out a bit. It'd be much appreciated. "Yeah, Fuller taught us some insulation charms... But not until a few months ago so it didn't really do much," he sighed. Like why would they learn that AFTER the worst part of the storm had hit?

He was so focused on the fact that the Professor was going to steal his bed- WHICH HE NEVER DID- to fully focus on the other potions he was holding. Hm. "Oh yeah... He said it's a claming drought... He gave something to Lux too, for animals and said that the two would go good together or something?"

Looking up from his plate once more he twirled the fork with his fingers. "I... I mean it's going to be good to go home... But I'll miss it over the summer," he admitted. Actually the entire term, home seemed like the best place to be. Warm under his own blankets, without the cold. But now, now it fully occurred to him as to how much he DIDN'T want to go home. Not to his brothers. Not after this year. "Are you ready to go back?"

This one was most definitely a Gryffindor. Everything about the first year shouted lion. It was admirable actually. He managed a smile, but deep down he was still freaking out.
