Why did everyone want to know if she'd enjoyed her year? Okay, it was a pretty normal question and it seemed standard to ask every first year. Hayden had to respect the logic of that. It wasn't their fault that her first year had been plagued by an eternal and beyond freezing winter.
"I would have liked it a lot better if the seasons had passed normally." There, that was better wasn't it? Better than her first answer. It sounded less angry. She also asked this boy the same thing she asked the other one.
