Cassia got a smile and a thumbs up as she sat down, and Derry filled her goblet with water. "I can't wait." she said to Addi, taking a sip. "Kinda dreading what I'm gonna find when I get there though." Home that is... what with Osiris being sick last time she heard about the horse... Don't think about that... Derry had reverted to the blatant ignoring of anything negative that she sometimes switched to when the alternative was rubbish, so she was just carrying on with her life... AS IF EVERYTHING WAS HAPPY. Which is was going to be. Yep.

Ascanius got an eyeroll and a little grin when he showed off his face to Addi. Derry loved him dearly, she really did, but he was a ridiculous human being. Just so long as he read her entry and at least got a tiny bit feelsy... cause she was a writer. It always made her happy to make people feelsy. Hehehe.

"Cat!" The girl got a HUGE squish and a big smile from Derry. Everyone was being so affectionate... it was kind of lovely, it just sucked that people were so reluctant to leave. They were still all going to be friends after this place, okay? OKAY? Okay. They better be. Derry needed it. "You. Are. The. Best." As soon as they were offered, Derry grabbed one of the sweet treats and shoved it in her face. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. "So you're gonna send us regular Moretti food care packages, right?" Because they obviously needed it if they were going to survive outside of Hogwarts...

Derry was sipping her water and looking round the room, when she noticed a pair of eyes on her. A tired pair maybe... or something. She offered Beverly a smile and a little thumbs up, then swiped another cannoli from Cat's box, levitating it over to the girl with a wink. She liked her, the girl had spirit.

"Oi, Józsua, who spat in your cornflakes this morning?" she said, offering a grin. "You know you're allowed to come and talk to us, right?" But actually... she had something for him. She'd been baking like a maniac yesterday... just so she could offer things around. She was going to keep most of it for the train but... "Here." She slid the little box of pizza shortbread across the table with a softer smile. She knew he was dreading the future... it sucked.
