Jasmine was glad to see Adi, but then she noticed the look on his face. It was a little hard to read and then came the question. "What's bothering me?" Jasmine wasn't aware that her smile faded at that point. How could she begin to explain what was bothering her? She thought that she had gotten better at hiding it lately. Probably not. Jasmine thought that she was dealing with it better now. Obviously not. With a sigh she said, "Oh, I've been going through some things lately." That was an understatement.

Jasmine did manage a laugh when Adi said that he wanted to lie in the sun for a week. "I hear you Adi. I feel like I'll never be warm again........but I am definitely going to try. I can't wait to get to the beach. It will be good not to have to wear five layers of clothes anymore."

And then another question.......this one Jasmine couldn't avoid. "I haven't heard from Cris since he left so no, I won't be visiting him this summer." Just thinking about it made Jasmine want to cry, but she wouldn't......not here. "I'm still trying to deal with the fact that he's gone. It's been very hard. Soooo, that is what's been bothering me.". A lot.
