Angel finished both spells, she didn't want her bestie to get injured. "Hey does that mean I win?" Angel hoped Leah wouldn't be too mad with her for what she had just done.
Laughter. She heard
laughter. Angel was laughing at Leah while she was dying, and that would be one thing she would remember even when she was dead. It was getting harder to breathe, and she swallowed another gulp of soap. Upside down, she saw Angel turning to leave the room. Then the girl blacked out.
When she woke up again, Leah was soap-free and on the ground. Yeah on the ground. That reminded her that she just dropped down from the air onto the cold hard ground. She stood up, made sure that she had no broken bones. Nope, none of those but she did have a couple of bad bruises.
Leah looked up at the Gryffindor as she spoke. She smiled as she said,
"Well bestie, I don't know who won this duel." Her pretty smile became a glare.
"What I do know is, you should care for your best friend even though you are in a duel!" Leah yelled the last part out, feeling tears rushing down her face. Picking up her wand that she had dropped during the struggle earlier, she stormed out of the dueling arena.
But she did stop by the log book to log their duel.
