Penelope hopped up onto it. Ooo, comfy. "Thanks, Professor." For the cloud and the congratulations. Felt nice to be graduating. Or getting really close to it at least.
He shook his head. "It would only fade away if you left it out in the sun for too long. The moisture holding the cloud together would evaporate. Although splashing it with a well place Aguamenti could fix that problem." In theory anyway. He hadn't actually attempted that just yet. Still an experimental spell, hence why he had not used it in lessons this term yet. Even if the temptation to use his students as guinea pigs was....alluring. "It should last for a while, but not indefinitely." All magic had its limits after all. "If it causes you any trouble you can always send me an owl, hopefully, and I can offer instruction on how to fix it, hopefully." You know, weather permitting and the like.

He walked around the cloud after Miss Greenwell sat on it, giving it a few good jabs with his wand to make sure that it was stable. Couldn't have her falling through it and getting injured. "It will be like flying on a broom now, to maneuver. Lean the direction you wish to go, although to stop you will just have to wait for it to slow down and stop on its own." Can't pull back on the cloud you see.
