He gave his friend a gentle poke and plopped her book back down. "You've officially distracted me from work, thanks a lot, Catty." Because he was working SO hard and stuff.

Theo's eyes opened a little wider when she told him her plans. Taking a year off definitely sounded very tempting to him, if only his parents could afford it. Hey ho, if he managed to become a famous Quidditch player then he could do it, 'cause his parents wouldn't offer up their cash for Theodore's travel purposes anyway. Tight butts. "Wow, that's exciting! Where're you headed?" Was she going on her own? Sounded like one hell of a decision! "Eh..." Theo shrugged, "I'm gonna try out for a few teams, I reckon. See what happens. But if that doesn't work out then I'll be stuck in a rut, I guess." Couch potato. Living off mum and dad. He smiled somewhat jokingly, but really he was TERRIFIED of that happening.
She was not surprised by his answer, she knew it's been one of Theo's favorite subjects. And she liked it herself. Because it was one of the few subjects that you could use in everyday life as opposed to others. "Yeah, it's fun," she attempted to nod but it was sort of hard while her head lay on the pile of books still.

"You're welcome, Buttress," She grinned at him assuming she just did him a favor. She would be so glad if someone had distracted her study and gave her a reason to close the book for a bit of time.

She was excited about her plans but was also worried about how helpful would they be. What if she could not find what she wanted to do? What if the traveling life sucked her in and she did not achieve what she wanted to. It was a risk. "I am not sure yet," She tapped a finger at the table considering, "It's going to be all around Europe, though," Not leaving the continent that was for sure.

Now, she liked his plans better because he loved Quidditch and knew he was very good at it. So he had a starting point. "That's nice, it'd be cool to see you back on a broom," She smiled remembering all the matches she'd attended and cheered in. Fun times! "Don't you miss it?" Probably a stupid question, though.
