She was not confident at conjuring shields yet, and maybe it was best to do the first thing that came to mind - jump out of the way. That was what Leah did immediately. The purple beam of light hit the wall behind her instead. She had definitely heard that incantation somewhere.. better read it up when she got to her dorm.
Pointing her wand at Angel, Leah called out, "Flipendo!" with the correct wand movement. A blue beam of light was conjured out, proving that she had done the knockback jinx correctly.
Angel was too busy laughing at seeing her friend perform a little dance and so she didn't see the jinx until it was too laugh.
"ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!" Angel sighed as she fell over, she couldn't believe she had been so stupid. "You were so lucky there." Angel giggled as she got up and made sure her legs weren't hurt. "It was such a lucky shot and if you hadn't been dancing I wouldn't have been distracted.
"Hey bestie watch this." Angel did a little Irish jig and then casted a silence "SCOURGIFY!!" Angel had just cheated a little bit by distracting her friend and she hoped her bestie wouldn't be mad at her for it.
