9: Endings, tolerance, metamorphasis, cosmic, teaching, global awareness, perfection, power/strength, short-lived, immediacy
5 May 1862 was the ending of the Battle of Puebla. There was a metamorphosis because the victory inspired and transformed the country of Mexico. Power and strength did not result in a win for France. The success was short lived because one year later, France captured Mexico City.
1:Beginning, independence, innovation, leadership
Cinco de Mayo represented a new beginning for Mexico. While it was not their true Independence Day, Mexico achieved theoretical independence because the did not allow France to prevail. The Mexican army was innovative in finding ways to win the battle when they were outnumbered.
5: Change, transition, progressive thinking, resourceful, freedom, versatility
The fifth of May marked a change in how Mexico was perceived by others, especially the more powerful countries. The Mexicans had freedom from war after the battle ended. Again the army showed resourcefulness and versatility in finding a way to win against all odds.
Whew, that was taxing. As usual, Jasmine had a headache when she finished analyzing her numbers, but she had done it. She put down her quill and rested her brain for a moment.......at least until the next task.
