Why yes, Dima DID remember.
"Okay." Normally, the first year would have jumped over and been excited about having a partner, but how was he supposed to work with someone who didn't like high-fiving? It was impossible. Still, he headed to a desk close to the tall kid. "I like the first option. About trying to UNDERSTAND the yeti." ... and then, eyeing the guy from the side, he held his hand up. He had to hit it, okay? Or Dima couldn't do anything with him.
Pause. "You're supposed to smack it. My hand." Did he know?
West was FINE with high fives, for the record, tiny child. West DID smack it, not TOO violently either. See? He was awesome with little kids apparently. Or not. Or who knew?
"Alright sounds good to me. Wanna write a song or something?" Well music was his thing, maybe Dima would find it fun too?
