"Oh yeah, I reckon that'd be a good way to do it too," and with that he looked right over to Mr. Watson and Sherlock. They'd better make some darn good cookies.

Fifteen minutes. Geeeez. "Chocolate chips? We should ask the house elves for some!" So what if actual fortune cookies didn't have chocolate chips? That couldn't stop them from adding some! Chocolate was always welcome. Especially around this Gryffindor. He excited looked around for a house elf before oh-so-casually throwing Grayson's BRILLIANT idea out there. "Are there any chocolate chips out here!?" Because they really really wanted some. How's that for a decoration, right?

AND TIME WAS UP! AT LAST! PRAISE MERLIN!

As Grayson took the cookies out, Zander basically MELTED at the amazing scent. Sniff. Sniff. "They smell ahmazing!" Ha, good teamwork. Yes. Mhmmm. Turning back to the list of steps, the Gryffindor read over them quickly. "So now we drop the fortunes in? I can do that part if you do the shaping?" He didn't even wait for a response because he was so eager to get these things done and into his mouth.

One fortune for you, Mr. Cookie. One for you. And one for you, you, you, AND YOU! He also did the folding thing and then looked over at his partner with a smile. So the shaping then? All yours, Whitlock!

All that agreement meant one of two things: either Grayson came up with oh-so-great plans OR Zander was one of those people who simply agreed to a lot of things that people said. Grayson was going to go with the former for obvious reasons. Pride and ego reasons, of course. And he didn't want to be thinking bad of the Gryffindor. Nah! Besides, the third year was looking over towards the Holmes-Watson pair too. "You think they'd share their cookies with us?" Those two were GREAT cooks.

Swear to Merlin, Zander was just full of bright ideas, wasn't he? The kid was suggesting asking the house elves! And what was event BETTER wa that his courageous, I-have-no-shame and act-first-think-later side had gone ahead and asked! BRILLIANT. Grayson couldn't have been more pleased in a partner. "I hope they have some and give us enough. Reckon we could take a couple to snack on too." That last sentence was said in a low voice so that only Zander could hear because this fifteen year old did NOT want other people taking his idea. No thank you.

Speaking of ideas, here was yet another good one. Good thing too evause otherwise, the Slytherin wouldn't have stopped sniffing the air because of the cookies. MAN, that SMELL. If it wasn't his Amortentia smell, he was going to be VERY surprised. "Had anyone told up that you're smart?" he asked, reaching over and grabbing a muffin tin. Because once it was shaped, it needed to be dropped in there for cooling reasons. Uh huh.

Sooooo, the task began. And once Zander put the fortune in and folded the cookie over, Grayson took hold of the cookie and shaped it so that it looked a bit more like a fortune cookie. Did he know what a fortune cookie looked like? LOL. No. Not REALLY. He was relying entirely on his memory for this one. The small memory of Professor Cassie holding up the cookie earlier on. AND te Slytherin had done what any other person would do and stolen a quick glance at someone else's cookies.

Cookie shaping was going on. And dropping them into the muffin tin to cool off. And their ones were going to look FANCY.

The process continued, with Whitty shaping the cookies that Chef Z had folded over before depositing them into the tin. At long last, they reached the final cookie, which Grayson folded over and dropped into the muffin tin with a bit of a flourish. "LOOK! We have fortune cookies! Look at how GREAT they look!"
