No, he was not sure. Not at all, how was a ghost made exactly? He didn't think he met any ghosts at Salem and this was his first year at Hogwarts and he wasn't sure he'd ever seen so many different magical things. "Not especially. But i would assume it isn't pleasant?" He asked in a more serious tone, Sir Nicholas seemed like he wanted to keep his personal things to himself and Connor could understand that. "A favor? What do you need, Sir Nicholas?" What could a Ghost want from him?
Sir Nicholas gave an enthusiastic approving nod and held on to his head to make sure that it stayed in place.
And then enthusiasm was somewhat gone. Sensitive subject, despite the ghost being somewhat open to discussing it with students. If his face had not already been pale in colour, however, it certainly would be now. So he did not really respond to those words and instead focused on the latter half. His favour.
Not every day that a House Ghost goes asking for favours, so consider yourself lucky young man!

I was wondering if perhaps you could be so chivalrous as to bring some food back from the Great Hall after a meal and let it ferment in the boys' dormitory. I would prefer some roast beef with gravy if you can manage."
He had asked a charming young Gryffindor earlier on in the term, but to his dismay she had not delivered on the favour. But he had high hopes for this strapping young fellow before him!
