This part is fun," Not that the others weren't, but she was trying to encourage Alexa and all. Before she started shaping, she reached for the sink and washed her hands. Just to be safe. After she waved her hands around in order for them to dry she stepped up again to the counter and started shaping one cookie slowly and carefully. Obviously to show Lex how it was done. Once she was done with it she moved on to shape another one faster now. She was sure Lex got how it's done.

Ingredients- 2 eggs (whites only), use the yolks for something else
- 1/2 tsp. (2.2g) of vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. (2.2g) of almond extract
- 3 tbsp. (41g) of vegetable oil
- 8 tbsp. (62.5g) of flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. (4g) of cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. (1.5g) of salt
- 8 tbsp. (100g) of sugar
- 3 tsp. (15g) of water
Steps
1.Make fortunes, use the shrinking charm reducio to make the parchment small enough to fit into the cookie.
2.Using your wand heat preheat the oven.
3.Combine all the ingredients and mix well until dough is smooth.
4.Place tablespoons of batter onto a cookie sheet, space them around 2 inches apart.
5.Bake for fifteen minutes or until golden brown.
6.Remove cookie and place parchment in the middle, fold the cookie over.
7.Form into fortune cookie shape.
8.Place cookies into a muffin tin to hold their shape. Let cool for ten minutes.
9.Decorate if you like.
The snake had always been so good at demonstrations so good that Lex just leaned against the counter and watched Cass shape one after another after another until she was already halfway through the cookies while they spoke. Shame they weren't actually back in Cassia's kitchen because then Lex could sneak a taste or two and there would still be enough.
"Hah, I heard about that, didn't believe them til I saw it on the noticeboard in our Common Room for myself." It was kinda hard to miss, compared to the other notices there.
"Wish this had happened last time, though I am happy to have it over and done with. Got good grades and now I hope they cancel the finals for everyone else too." Whether as a reward for not going outside and getting themselves killed or....as a .....we're sorry you've all seen nothing but these walls since December please don't sue. Either would have worked for her.
"You'll do great. You're smart, remember?" Sometimes Lex was kind enough to remind her friend. Yup.
Fun....right...Cassia said it looked fun.
"It must be fun." Lex concluded, eyeing the cookies.
"Otherwise you wouldn't have done them all like you just did. G'job Cass!" Lex said with a grin. It just went to show. If you stood by passively enough for long enough the work got done without you. Well then.
"I'll get them into the muffin tin then you can decorate. Sound good?" Even while she asked, Lex was already placing them. This would help them keep their shape? Well if you say so.
