Can you imagine ill-shaped or outright deformed cookie dough shapes? That's what Lex would produce. She lacked the discipline necessary to make certain things. This was no secret.

"Poor thing is right. He wanted to follow me to class once because he'd been sleeping in my blanket that I took with me but I don't reckon pets are allowed unless you've got a fancy badge saying Head Girl and the attitude to match." If someone like Lex tried...it wouldn't go that well but no doubt Cassia could pull it off. "I think the sleepover's at your house this summer, tell him to be sure I see Venom presented on your pillow by the time I get there." What did she think he might have done to the spider, she couldn't say but Mikey would suffer the same fate regardless of the ingorance on her part.

Oh jeeeeez. Lex's eyes widened some in realization. When the owls left, Snaty obviously went with them. "After all these years of trying to get rid of him. To think all it took was a little cold." Then again...the cold had made them all leave. "He'll be back. Don't you have a little cousin you could gift him to? Say he means so much and will help them too blah blah blah?" Surely the girl knew how to make it convincing.

Op, she was done now and Lex slipped the papers onto a tray big enough to hold them all then levitated them toward the oven to get them started. 15 minutes? She trusted Cassia would be keeping track of that even through their chatter.

This wasn't the easiest thing to do but she could manage. Usually when she'd be making cookies at home, her brother would actually help with this part. To think that Mike could do more in the kitchen than Lex could was really amusing. It felt a betrayal to say this now especially having really missed brother since they have not communicated in a while. And it was harder to be focused when she chuckled at Lex's threat. "I will tell him that as soon as I get the chance," she said.

And finally! She was done. She let the Gryffindor put it in the tray and all while she wiped the couple drops of sweat that formed on her forehead.

Back to poor Felix, " We can barely bear this situation, it's no wonder he's being like that," Were they ever going to get out of the castle! What if they were trapped here for years to come! What if they became elderly people here!

The moment the tray was in the oven, the snake started keeping track of time."I do have cousins, uncle Silas's kids but they are cute and they like me," So she would not give them such a present. Nope. Wouldn't do this to them. And the fifteen minutes were up!

"Time to get those out," She said grabbing an oven mitten and pulling out the tray. She examined the color of the cookies and nodded approving. It was the right color. "Now we have to put the parchments in the cookies," She told Lex who probably was lost now. Taking one cookie gingerly she inserted the parchment showing Lex how it's done. "See, it's easy," Or she could do all them all.
