"Here's how it went down: some people went hiking in Tibet and came across this creature that they had heard sooooooooooo much about from some tattle-tale person. THEN. They tried to slay the creature because they thought its blood would be useful in potions and whatnot but that wasn't the case. According to this text, the Yeti was scared because they had torches and whatnot with them and was only trying to defend itself, but the people were having none of it. And then the dude came in, did some weird wand movement thing that subdued the Yeti and saved the day and now he's some sort of hero." The last bit probably wasn't true because he was a big fat liar.
Oh will you look at that? The Headmistress was here and taking that Gryffindor away. Oh ho ho! Even bigger drama.
