The batter looked so tempting. Could she not eat some before placing it in the oven?

Shrugging, Lux figured why not then dipped her finger in. Yummy. So this was what fortune cookies tasted like. Was it possible for a dessert to NOT be delicious? Because seriously this girl was going to become fat with the amount of sweets she consumed on a daily basis.

The recipe said to place the batter on a cookie sheet, so that was exactly what she did. Scooping and dropping, she soon had all the cookies laid out at what she guessed to be two inches apart. After checking to see what time it was, into the oven the cookies went.

Now to play the waiting game.

SPOILER!!: Recipe
Ingredients
• 2 eggs (whites only), use the yolks for something else

1/2 tsp. (2.2g) of vanilla extract

1/2 tsp. (2.2g) of almond extract

3 tbsp. (41g) of vegetable oil

8 tbsp. (62.5g) of flour

1 1/2 tsp. (4g) of cornstarch

1/4 tsp. (1.5g) of salt

8 tbsp. (100g) of sugar

3 tsp. (15g) of water

Steps
1. Make fortunes, use the shrinking charm reducio to make the parchment small enough to fit into the cookie.
2. Using your wand heat preheat the oven.
3. Combine all the ingredients and mix well until dough is smooth.
4. Place tablespoons of batter onto a cookie sheet, space them around 2 inches apart.

5. Bake for fifteen minutes or until golden brown.
6. Remove cookie and place parchment in the middle, fold the cookie over.
7. Form into fortune cookie shape.
8. Place cookies into a muffin tin to hold their shape. Let cool for ten minutes.
9. Decorate if you like.
