Team BOTROS. be curious, not judgmental Sophie was intrigued by the ancient-looking device the whole way to the entrance hall, but knew better than to ask questions prematurely. Botros was a wickedly brilliant man - certainly he knew what he was doing - so this was one of those situations where Sophie knew it was best to keep her mouth shut and listen. So she did.
'Don't touch any unusual carvings' was interpreted as 'don't touch anything.' So she wasn't going to touch anything. Good. Oh, instructions - "Imprecatio Revelio," she repeated slowly, her eyes closing to focus on visualizing the words and keeping every syllable locked firmly into her memory so she could repeat it without much problem as they went on their quest. "Imprecatio Revelio... Imprecatio Revelio." Her eyes opened and she smiled, giving Botros a nod. Locked in. Got it.
Spellwork was more her thing than just runes anyway.
The device proved to be wicked cool, though, and Sophie had all the same questions as the two boys, looking between them and Botros with curiosity, awaiting an answer - and, without giving it much thought, she casually scooted closer to the little Hufflepuff girl and gave her a smile. The girls should stick together, right?
