"I would prefer you to call me Sir Nicholas, if you don't mind," the ghost replied kindly. He would spare the young man the grotesque sight that tended to follow when he bowed his head. Could not have another Gryffindor losing their lunch over the sight. "I would think something with a bit more swashbuckling a theme would be more appropriate. Knew someone who died of fright reading from that author you have in your hands there. Rather timid fellow, actually. And I suppose it was really no fault of the book's but rather the person who had the unfortunate timing of sneezing during a rather pivotal moment in the book. He was at my last Death Day Celebration, you know. The death by Poe fellow."

He floated a little closer to the fireplace and only pretended to keep himself warm beside it. "One does miss it, but perhaps not as much as other things" he explained. "Oh we find our ways, much like you find your own way of keeping busy."
