"I only do reckless things when you get yourself in trouble which is a lot apparently cause the great Sherlock Holmes can't keep himself out of trouble." Simon was fully embracing his role.
"I got a telephone call from Mrs. Hudson. She was rather worried about your whereabouts since recently you haven't had the cleanest record," he said, folding his arms and pulling out an imaginary phone (cause Simon would never do that in class). Pursing his lips he thought through the question. "What I can deduce from this situation is that there was a sign on the door informing students to 'Make an Entrance'. Some of them followed through and just had fun. Others scurried in," he said simply.
He was about to go on when Zander dropped all his things. "Oh dear, that was loud," he said and went over to help Zander pick up the books. "Hey, you okay, mate?" Was something wrong with Zander? Hmmm?
Ethan Holmes smirked, every ounce of arrogance emanated from his face and body language.
“I have to say Watson that is a good deduction of yourself.” Holmes toyed with the peppermint humbug on his table as he enjoyed the scene unfold before him. Ah yes, the perks of being early for this class. Hehehehe. So far, theirs was the most epic. Mhm.
“A call from Mrs. Hudson? That could only mean one thing. Mycroft is at play.” Speaking of Mycroft, they needed one! Merlin, can he play the older brother too? Ethan Holmes simply nodded as he smirked…and snorted at the different entrances his classmates made. Again, he was in character okay? But yeah, he’s having too much fun.
Ethan did not expect that Simon would break away from his character when it was Zander’s turn to make an entrance. Detective Holmes however remained his composure and raised an eyebrow at his Watson, and Zander. Ethan Holmes just shook his head with the slightest grin on his face. In character or out character, Simon Holden / John Watson’s got a heart of gold.
SPOILER!!: Professor Glendower

Oh it was Simon and the young Slytherin received a beam as he walked in. Yes, she was starting to remember names after following Cosgrach’s advice to make notes by the roster names. The woman was just about to return his ‘hello,’ pausing as he continued. Watson.. Holmes.. ? Oh how delightful!
Nessa had to suppress a squeal as the two Slytherin boys play-acted as the great detective of lore and his invaluable assistant. Did they know how much she loved those stories?! ”Dr. Watson! Detective Holmes! How delightful to have you both here today,” Nessa simply beamed at them both and played along with their act. ”I am such a fan of both your work and am sure you’ll have no trouble solving the case today.” She gave them both a wink as they sat down then applauded a little. What a brilliant entrance and performance! Bravo!

Alright! It was time for class to begin. Eeep, she was excited! Professor Glendower found her place at the front of the classroom, giving all the students a big smile before she began. "Good afternoon, everyone! I appreciate each and every one of your entrances. They are all so creative and unique to you. Believe it or not, they do speak something about you." But that was not what they would be necessarily discussing today.. even if all her classes has a touch of individuality from each of the students.
"So, let's begin.." She clasped her hands together as she looked all around at them. "Last time we met, we actually touched on something that foreshadowed today's lesson." Oh she simply loved that literary device and was pleased to have had that in her last lesson even if no one realized it at the time. "And if you haven't already guessed, then the book I asked you to bring, if you owned it already, was probably a huge hint to the topic of today's lesson." Hmm, did anyone bring the supplemental book with them? Now might be a good time to pass out the extra copies.
Flicking her wand at the back of her podium, she sent a dozen copies of Year with the Yeti to the middle of the room and let them hover at eye-level there. "If you did not bring a copy with you today, please come up and get one.. though there is not enough for the entire class if no one brought one. You might have to share." But we were all friends here, they could just pull up their desks next to each other and look over each other's shoulder. "And then answer me this.." Dramatic pause. "Why would we be discussing Yetis here today in History of Magic class instead of Care of Magical Creatures?" Since that's what they were and all.
OOC - Please one answer per person and try not to say something that someone else already did. Creative answers are always welcome!
And so…the game was afoot!
“We are, likewise delighted to be in your presence, madam.” Ethan sat up straighter as their
clientprofessor acknowledged them. Shrugging, Ethan got a copy of the said book from the pile and inspected it as he walked back to his seat. This should be an interesting read, but it irks him that it was written by Gilderoy Lockhart. But anyway, onto the professor’s question.
Hand up.
“If we know their history, then it would be easier to contain or handle them.” Ethan nodded as he placed the book on his armchair. “
They say it’s easier to capture the enemy if you know their background.” Right, he’s been reading too much Sherlock books as of late. Mhm.
