Plate with cucumber sandwiches in hand, Lux made her way over to sit at the fireplace. Usually she ate at the counter when she was in the kitchens, but with it being so cold in the castle these days the extra heat provided by the fireplace was more than welcome.
Moving her chair so that it was a little closer to the flames (without being too close), the Hufflepuff began to dig in to her food. She had just been to visit Bay, which was always wonderful. And after she ate it was time to do some homework. Ugh, work. The cold was making her feel more lazy so her work ethic was starting to suffer. But at least her mood was a lot better than it had been. Things would be perfect again when Bay was out of the Hospital Ward. |
