...really? No wonder the Aparecium was so popular with students. They were actually curious about professors' grooming habits. And, for the record, this random bit of information better now show up on a piece of parchment any time soon. Not that he really went out of his way to read it. Needless to say, he sort of missed the whole bit about the Slytherin not being serious. Too caught up in contemplating the absurdity of students really wanting to know this information.
Oh yes, cosplay talk. Pity he had missed Halloween this term. Perhaps he should schedule a lesson on Halloween next term...work it somehow into his lesson. Although it went against the standards he held for his lessons. No party and no real distractions. Hmm...he was going to have to think on this. "Just the standard Data," he confirmed. Another issue had been Data and his feline...and with the astronomer's ridiculous fear dislike for them, well, it was hard to be convincing.
Simon frowned slightly when he heard Airey’s response. Man, that was too bad. “
Perhaps you’ll meet her in the random place in the world? Like on a vacation somewhere?” he offered with a kind smile but maybe Flamsteed wouldn’t recognize her. Or maybe he would. He didn’t know. All he knew was that actors did like to hide in public so that they wouldn’t get a bazillion fans coming over to ask them to kiss their baby, sign their photos, or pose for a photo. The boy supposed that it must all get really old quite quickly. Poor actors or relatives to actors.
“
Nice. If you did end up having the Data beard, it would have been quite itchy,” he said with a grin. He could have imagined putting a fake beard on would be sort of really itchy. Simon didn’t know what it was like to grow facial hair at his young age but he had heard ALL kinds of stories about growing beards and moustaches. It seemed cool to him but the boy enjoyed his smooth baby skin at the moment. It was easy to maintain. Simon went to take another sip of his tea when he realized that he was all out.
Ah, it must be time to get going then. “
Well, I have to be off. I have to go finish some homework before my next class. Thank you Professor Flamsteed for the book, the tea, and the chat. It was really awesome,” he said with a grin as he carefully stood up, cradling the book in his arms.
