She'd thank him later, but right now, she didn't want to mess up the charm. He'd chanted, too, which was meant to do something different to the water--make it colder, maybe? Sophie wondered what the water would be like when they touched it. "Finite!" she said, ending the charm.

Caleb was holding the water bottle in his hands, so Sophie leaned forward a little to get a better look. "What does it--..." She never got to finish that question. A squirt of ICE COLD water hit her right in the nose. "CALEB!" she fussed. "That was FREEZING!"

He was SO getting this water dumped all over his head when this was over. "Save that water. I have another water bottle we can use," she said. She produced it and held it out for Caleb to aim into.
