Grayson liked it. It was enticing, you know. He tried to look as innocent as possible as he glanced over at Botros, while taking an Isa runestone. "Alright," he said, looking back at the Gryffindor, "You're a sneaky one, Cambridge." What exactly was going to happen, he didn't know but he was going to do something he didn't usually do: blindly trust her.
Another glance was made towards the corner over there. One that was FAR away from Botros himself. SOMEONE wanted to remain inconspicuous, eh? SNORT. "You've picked the right person, then." Because he WAS in. Especially when hexes and other dangerous things could be involved here. BRILLIANT. "And what do we say if the Professor catches us? We need an excuse beforehand. A good enough reasoning." Because the number one reason why people got into as much trouble as they did was because they didn't have the right reasoning behind their actions.
ANYWAYS. Galdr. Right.
Grayson flipped his textbook open to the page of the Galdrs and started chanting the one for the ice rune, the runestone clutched in his hand. "Isa isa isa...... i i i i i i i i i...... i i i i i i s s s s s s......." Chant chant walk walk. ".....(s s s s s s i i i i i i)....... i i i i i i i i i......." How many times were they meant to chant this?
Reaching a spot near the corner of the room, the fifteen year old looked over at Lex. "What's the plan, then?"
There might have been the faintest trace of a smirk across her face when he told her she was sneaky. Who can really be sure about these things? See, this was why she propositioned Grayson for something like this. He was as up for this as she was and he still didn't have an idea as to what she'd brought him to this corner of the class for.
On the shuffle down the room she'd thought of what he'd said about needing a story. They did but really, how much trouble could they get in? Finally she shrugged, dropping her book to the nearest table deciding the chanting was over.
"We got a little carried away and we're sorry? The rune took over and we were possessed? The fear of the snow apocalypse froze our thinking process?Does it really matter, it'll already be done and he wants us practicing anyway." So yes, Grayson, pay attention and stop worrying about the potential trouble they could be in. With so many students ahead of them, they were far less likely to be seen...depending on what they chose to do.
The Professor said the shield slowed things down...and she wanted to see. Understandable given her curiosity SO, with a light flick of her wand she vase of a decent size then placed it at her feet.
"I'm going to fire this at you and you're going to cast protego--while using the rune of course and all that fancy stuff. Do us both a favour, don't miss." Or they'd never hear the end of it and it would likely be
her fault. Not something she would deal with thanks.
"You ready?" Even after the question she gave him a bit of time to proper ready himself so they could see this rune in action, then,
"Depulso!" The spell sent the vase flying right at the Slytherin. Lex's eyes locked on him, waiting, wondering how this would go and weather the Professor would mind a flying vase.
Technically....technically....no, nevermind, there was no technically. Just don't look Sir!
